About Me

In 2017 I founded StartWell — an experiential brand giving companies a place to gather for collaboration and content creation. It's my main gig, and the thing I'm most proud of building.

Stills and motion are a constant thread through my work and life — always learning, always finding new ways to see. This site is where that practice lives. Somewhere on the horizon is a part-time life in Italy. That plan is very much in progress. 🙂

I started working as a teenager in the mid-nineties — teaching people about the Internet in East Africa, then building communication platforms online, SaaS offerings, and streaming media services before most people knew what any of those words meant.

The through-line has always been the same: find where technology and human behaviour intersect, and build something useful there. Over the years that's meant running corporate innovation programs, founding companies, and leading investments into seed rounds worth millions. I'm deeply familiar with startup ecosystems — the exhilaration, the grind, and everything in between.
